Bert Ogborn - Founder
Bert is first and foremost a family man, having been married for over 25 years to his wife, Cathy. They have three children, two of which are pursuing careers in Chicago , Illinois . He also is devoted to his wonderful parents who have been together for an incredible 50 years. In a nutshell, Bert’s workforce experience contains years of copy writing, technical writing, and “in the trenches” sales experience.
Bert’s background and experience have uniquely prepared him to:

Rod Vannortwick - Producer / Editor / Videographer
Rod has shot music industry videos, including the Billboard Video Music Awards, Sony Music, Universal Records, Motown Records and Jive Records.
Rod has shot interviews of new artists for promotional purposes…with his these recordings appearing on MTV as part of new artists’ debuts.
Rod has videotaped promotional / training pieces for Penske Motor Sports, Nascar, Rod Bensen Game Calls, Guardsman Furniture Care Products, Wesco Corporation, and Gray & Company
(the world’s leading maker of maraschino cherries and glace fruit).
And, Rod has done freelance videography for local ABC, CBS and NBC affiliates.
Rod’s understanding of lighting, shading, and other lumination techniques assures a crystal clear recording regardless of the location. And his training and experience in audio elements insures clarity of every syllable and nuance.

Dave Loring - Videographer / Editor
Dave Loring’s first love was boxing, as he is one of the few two-time Golden Glove champions in the sport.
But, since 1979, he has been as tough and demanding on himself as a videographer and film editor.
He has produced promotional videos for companies such as Pennington Brothers (industrial manufacturing), Mercy General Health Partners, and Generation Care.
With over 1,000 weddings in Western Michigan to his credit, Dave is considered one of Western Michigan ’s premier wedding videographers.
His outstanding sports productions include Toughman Contests, State Championship Football and Hockey games; many of which have aired on local television stations.
Dave has also filmed performances for many outstanding theatre production companies in Western Michigan .
His unwillingness to settle for anything less than perfection, his penchant for detail, and his tireless effort is what sets Dave apart from almost everyone else in the world of videography. Digital Business Cards USA is proud to have him on our team.

Dennis Threadgill - Videographer / Photographer
Dennis Threadgill has a B.S. of Film and Video from Grand Valley State University. While in college he was a Production Assistant for the 1996 Olympics.
He was also a camera operator for a live, religious event in Indiana's RCA Dome viewed by over 20,000. Since then he has been a vital part to numerous productions.
Whether live events or productions that go into post, Dennis has done it all. His love and passion is shooting but he also has knowledge of writing, editing and audio production. Projects that he has worked on locally are Summer Celebration (a Western Michigan Music Festival), TV5 (Educational Access Channel in Grand Haven, Michigan), numerous weddings and special events, promotional videos and non-profit awareness productions. Along with video, Dennis is a professional photographer.
Dennis has also been videographer at the Frauenthal Center for the Performing Arts. The Frauenthal Center is located in Muskegon, Michigan, and is one of the nation's most stunningly beautiful and historic theatres. Dennis has had the opportunity to be videographer of some of the finest Symphonies, Broadway Plays, Bands, Comedians, Actors and Singing Groups that have performed at the Frauenthal Center.
Because of his traveling experiences in over 11 countries and living abroad for over
4 years Dennis adapts well in every situation. No matter what the job and who it is for, his expertise, professionalism and integrity is talked about long after
completion of the project.

Ken Thies - Sound Engineer
Ken Thies - sound engineer (record/edit/mix/master/post) & computer systems (Unix and networks)
Ken holds a degree in Computer Science from WMU, and has pursued studies in music composition as
well as sound and audio. He draws on skills and knowledge from all of these areas in order to
provide consistent, high quality audio results.
Ken has done work for several private clients as well as sub-contract work for other audio companies,
both in the studio and in the field. He is also the owner of KaT's Corner Recording, a Muskegon area
audio recording and production company.
Some of Ken's recurring clients and projects include: MSBOA district 11, Necromancer Audio (including
the Miss Michigan scholarship pageant and Muskegon Summer Celebration), Dragon Studio, and Dave
Loring Video Productions.
Whether Ken is writing or arranging music, managing computer systems, recording a stereo or
multitrack feed in the field, or producing a full CD project in the studio, his focus is always
on achieving the best results possible for the project at hand.
Ken considers the client to be the most important part of any project. He'll work with you to
understand what your project goals are, and then apply his knowledge and skills to help you
achieve those goals with quality and professionalism. |
